Location

Al Gelso Bianco is located in the Tuscan countryside, in the beautiful Val d’Elsa, just 30 km from Florence and 35 km from Siena.

When staying at Al Gelso Bianco, we recommend arriving by car so that you can travel independently and explore the surrounding area. You can rent a car from a local car rental company, or we can arrange for one to be delivered directly to the property. Please contact us in advance to request this service.

How to reach us from the North

Leave the A1 motorway at the “Firenze Impruneta” exit and take the “Firenze-Siena” motorway towards Siena. Take the Poggibonsi Nord exit.

After leaving the motorway, turn right and follow the signs for Barberino Val d’Elsa. After a few metres, turn left towards S. Appiano.

Continue along the road and drive through the village of S. Appiano. Proceed until you see the Al Gelso Bianco sign on your left. Take the unpaved road, which will lead you directly to the Resort.

How to reach us from the South

Leave the A1 motorway at the “Valdichiana” exit and take the “Siena-Bettolle” road towards Siena. Then join the “Siena-Firenze” motorway towards Florence and take the Poggibonsi Nord exit.

After leaving the motorway, turn right and follow the signs for Barberino Val d’Elsa. After a few metres, turn left towards S. Appiano.

Continue along the road and drive through the village of S. Appiano. Proceed until you see the Al Gelso Bianco sign on your left. Take the unpaved road, which will lead you directly to the Resort.
